Full Professor/Reader/Lecturer in Statistics (Multiple posts)

Applications are invited for a Full Professor/Reader/Lecturer in Statistics, tenable from 1st September 2008 or a date to be agreed. Multiple positions are available, at Full Professor, Reader and Lecturer levels.

Applications from candidates in any field of statistics, broadly interpreted, will be considered seriously. For at least one of the posts we are interested in receiving applications from those engaged in research involving time series analysis or nonparametric regression.

These positions represent an outstanding opportunity to join a vibrant and intellectually stimulating centre for Statistics.The Bristol group is characterised by a strong research culture and reasonable teaching loads, and there is a consequent expectation of both creative and influential research, and excellent and engaging teaching from undergraduate to graduate level.
