Workshop Location

The workshop registration and lecture rooms are 3-176 and 3-180 in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Building.

To get there from the Radisson Hotel, turn right when facing the street (Washington Avenue) and pass the next building (the Washington Ave. Parking Ramp). Cross Union Street to get to the EE&CSB complex, which is recessed from the street. Both rooms are on street level, in the northwest part of the building. (The floor layout may be somewhat confusing.) Please see Minneapolis Campus map.

The main IMA office is located at 400 Lind Hall, the first building west of the EE&CS complex. The mathematics building, Vincent Hall, is located behind Murphy Hall on the other side of Church, which is a pedestrian street.

Housing Options

A substantial number of rooms have been reserved at the Radisson Hotel. Please see the Radisson Hotel Metrodome registration form. In order to use the IMA reservation code for the hotel, use the "reserve" button at the lower right of the reservation page, just below the heavy black line. (The code will not be listed if you use the "Make a Reservation" button at the bottom left of the page.)

You can also see Housing Options for IMA Visitors for a list of other hotels. The Days Inn University is a reasonable alternative. It is about 10 minutes further east from the Radisson at the intersection of Washington and University Avenues.

Taxi Directions

Most participants will wish to take a taxi from the airport. There will be plenty of cabs waiting; the cost should be about $25. The driver should know how to get to the hotel, "Radisson Hotel Metrodome". If there is any uncertainty, mention that it is on Washington Avenue on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota.
